Myth #3: You Can’t Get Warranty Coverage
Almost always, you can buy an extended warranty for a car, even if it’s pre-owned. However, you will automatically get coverage if you go with a certified pre-owned model. If it is still applicable, you will be able to take advantage of the original four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. When that ends, you will also get a one-year/unlimited-mile limited warranty.
